A few years ago, a parent donated a ton of these boxes and that year I had the 4th and 5th graders paint them for keepsakes. This is the first year I could do it again, what a fitting year to do it! These are a few samples and pics of the kids in action. Initially they were confused and didn't get the idea that the box was for them as a keepsake. I think this was because we started it right after mother's day, but they got into the groove and created unique designs.
