These third grade girls turned their weavings into fairy pouches. Tres cute!

Hoodie Pokemon

The boy in the red shirt is the gifted young artist who drew the Hoodie Pokemon for me, so I could make copies for the other kids to color in. These are some 4th graders. The students loved coloring them in. Thanks so much!

1st grade made cupcake pinch pots with cherries.

3rd grade made dogs, or cats and wove wee rugs for them.

Love Britto Style

My second graders rocked Robert Indiana's LOVE! They learned about Britto and 1st and second generation Pop Artists.

Pop Art Pencils

Students learned about Claus Oldenburg and made giant pencils and crayons. These were so awesome, I didn't want to send them home! (Got the idea from Cassie Stevens.) This project included materials that were made possible by different sources. The Cooper Medical practice donated the towel rolls and the paint was provided by the Manatee Education Foundation through a grant.

Outrageous Owls

These owls are so cute and beautifully done by 4th graders. They used cray-pas.

Freight Train

"A train runs across this track - red caboose at the back." Donald Crews
Kindergarten painted with sponges and bottle caps and painted with tempera.

Astronauts on the Moon

This is a fun project that is inspired from "Painted Paper."

Andy Warhol First and Second Grades

The Very Hungry Catepillar

This was Kindergarten's first project of the year. They painted with balloons, drew with cray-pas and painted with tempera. I think these are too stinkin cute!
